In support of the Southampton Animal Shelter, this show is an enchanted day at the zoo for your imagination, featuring the works of talented artists using diverse media and styles to create a menagerie of animal life.
Submission Fee: $50 – 100% of your fee will be donated to the SASF. Please make checks payable to Southampton Animal Shelter Foundation: and mail checks to PO Box 696 Hampton, Bays, NY 11946 and write “ART Show” in the memo. To donate by credit card please call 631-728-7387 Ext. 240 and mention “Art Show submission.”
- SHAS@RJDgallery.com images of up to 3 works by March 22, 2015.
- Chosen works will be announced via email on April 6, 2015.
- Please label submissions with last name, first name, title, size, medium & retail price.
- All works must be original creations by the artist, include an animal & be available for purchase.
- Exhibition is open to painters working in Oil, Acrylic, Mixed-media & Watercolor. (Please NO video art or sculpture.)
If Chosen:
- All selected work must be shipped to the gallery on or before April 19th, 2015.
- Accepted works cannot be substituted and are committed until May 29, 2015.
- Artist allows the Gallery the right to reproduce their work for marketing of this event.
- Artist agrees to allow the gallery to negotiate up to 10% maximum to achieve a sale on our mutual behalf. If the work is sold, the gallery is committed to donating 25% of the proceeds to the shelter and the artist will receive 50% of the sale price (or can donate a portion of their proceeds to the shelter.)
- Artist will be responsible for round trip shipping of their artwork, insurance while in transit, and must provide a pre-paid return shipping label with their piece.
Additional works will be added when the submission process is closed and the artists to be included are announced during the week of March 22
